Not sure what gave me the idea for this one. I guess I tried to picture an evil, corrupt, power hungry king who transformed himself into a dragon, standing on a pile of riches and skulls of his enemies. If you look closely you can see the Witch King's sword from Lord of the rings, various shields and weapons from other fantasy genres, and a sword from a MANOWAR album cover.
Yet another sketch I think would look awesome as a digital painting.
