P-40 Flying Tiger

An Advanced Photoshop class project in which we had to take something fake, like a toy or model and make it look real. I used a model of my favorite WWII fighter plane, the P-40 Flying Tiger. The clouds were taken by me from an airliner. The model was stuck to a piece of white paper with silly putty and photographed, the propeller is a radial gaussian blur, the crashing zero in the background is an actual vintage photo. the smoke trail and explosions are creative use of photoshop brushes. The tracer bullet trails were added using the Wacom tablet.

This was a fun project to do and i think it turned out spectacular. Try it yourself!
