Untitled Op Art 1

Vectorization of a poster I drew in 8th grade with colored pencil. (I think the original drawing is somewhere on here, when I find it I guess I'll link it) I liked the original piece, it was very colorful and the shapes were fun, but it always seemed it would be better with crisp lines and smooth color rather than hand drawn.

This drawing was actually the only one I saved from that school year, I was out sick working on it and when I came back I learned my portfolio had either been thrown out or stolen. It's one of the coolest pieces I've done and I am very attached to it.

The design looks a bit dated, say 1980s-1990s style, but I came up with it when I was 13; i'm 25 now so that would have been the 90's. And retro is cool to me anyway. Reminds me of the 'Optical Art' coloring books i used to have fun with as a kid. And it's given me ideas for a few derivative works in the same style.

So here at last, it's done.
